Sometimes its just so hard getting out with little ones isnt it?! do you have a local go to?
Our go to is our local park for a run around finished off with an ice cream.
Its 10 minutes away, free parking, cheap ice cream and a never ending green space for the kids to all run around.
Ideal for those days i just don't have it in me to go anywhere, so after a difficult night with Eren teething and Ayla being a newborn its exactly where we needed to head out to.
This is such a great park to visit throughout the year, you are even able to have BBQ's on the field! There is a huge sand pit and water sprinkle feature for little ones to run through and play. the adventure park has recently been transformed and also inside the park is a huge slide and zip line. the park is still closed due to covid-19 and i cant wait for it to reopen.
Situated opposite Highbury and Islington station its easily accessible with bus routes-
4,19,30,43,271,277,393 and 236 taking you straight there.
There is disabled parking available to and pay and display.
if you have an Islington parking permit you can take advantage of the roaming scheme between 11-3 on weekdays.
There are public toilets within the main park area.
