Fathers Day

Hi Everyone, With Father’s Day coming up I thought I would do a round up of some gift inspo and ideas for the day.

This year I’m supporting small businesses and have ordered a big filled Father’s Day

balloon, 6 personalised cupcakes (I will probably eat 5) and a personalised card from the children. 

I’m going to make a hamper full of his favourite things such as miniature whiskeys, a new glass, some snacks and a couple of pampering items. I also picked up a super cute personalised daddy and me book from www.penwizard.com It’s a Peppa pig book which Eren is obsessed with and I love this because you can personalise to different races, hair colour, eye colour etc so it’s perfect for everyone and they can have their own special book at bedtime. I've added in some pictures of the peppa pig book, it’s hard back and great quality and they also do other favourite characters suvh as Paw Patrol. I will start the day off by cooking us all brunch and making it a bit more luxe than usual throwing in some fancy sausages and some smashed avocado and maybe even some french toast.  It’s something we can all enjoy eating together and gets us all around the table as a family.  For dinner I think I will do a steak meal for just the two of us with a mushroom sauce and some truffled mash. I never do fancy dinners anymore it’s always a one pot dinner or a pasta dish so it will be nice to have a treat obviously accompanied with some Prosecco!  Below are some of my fave goodies for Fathers day.
